The manufacture of chalksticks is yet another source of income. Pouring a mixture into a mould seems a fairly simple operation, but the real test lies in the correct proportion of baking and cooling to ensure strength and smoothness of the finished product.

Chalksticks are utilised by the Industrial Technical Institutes of the Government and of course at several schools and colleges in and around Pune.
