A valuable source of regular income for the Technical Training Institute is the re-caning section. Large orders are received from government departments as well as private sectors for the renovation of chairs.

It is also an important outlet for self- employment for skilled trainees. For the re-caning of chairs, we receive regular orders from the Sales Tax and Income Tax Offices, the Employees State Insurance Corporation, the Central Excise Department, the Police Department and the Collector's Office.

In the industrial and commercial sectors, regular work orders are received from TELCO,.J. N. Marshall, Inlaks & Budhrani Hospital.
